About Her
I was born in a small town, in a country about to free itself, from old South Africa. Born to an English mother & Afrikaans father, my outlook on life is unique compared to those who had one or the other & obscured by my dad's doing.
I think of myself as straight forward, a bit high strung, a bit stubborn, deeply caring & loving, kind & giving & to sensitive for my own good sometimes. My friends think of me as opinionated, difficult, indecisive, funny & reliable. How i really am? Loyal and dedicated! I love good music, inspiring songs & literature are a necessity in live! I've lived & studied across Cape Town & Namibia & i know what i am talking about, most of the time anyway.
I bitch & moan while feeling deeply the plight of the suffering & the sad, but you wont find me leading the next revolution.
The Libra in me hates injustice, unfairness & falseness. I'm a fully-fledged member of Generation X & a cynic living in a world that swings between unbelievable naivety & utter paranoia. Occasionally I feel incredibly exasperated at the ignorance that is allowed to exist in the world & concerted efforts some go to maintain it. I have struggled a lot in live, endured many hardships but i have the best mom & brothers anyone could ask for & they have carried me through all of it. I feel i haven't accomplished enough at my age. I believe happiness is only real when shared & even though i do a lot of things by myself i very much want someone to share it with. I love gaining knowledge & insight although there are many things you can not learn from a story or a book; no matter how smart you are. Ive experienced pain & healing. I have grown. Ive known sadness & joy. I try not to dwell on either & seek a steady embrace of contentment. I try to treat woman as best i can. As my mom raised me. I believe in the pursuit of happiness & the right & freedom to pursue it. Do what you want but do it honestly.
